GLADIATOR Directed by Ridley Scott The film Gladiator takes nonplus historically in the times of ancient capital of Italy. The two men, immediately slaves, are whence sold to future who manages and trains gladiators. The film then bounces back to Rome, where the new Caesar Commodus is gradually gaining power, which includes profligacy the Senate and killing his semipolitical rivals.
